Si Skolnick was also in the furniture business in the 1940's. He established a fine design studio in New York City where he lived on the Upper East Side with his wife, Lilly, and baby daughter, Barbara. After a period of time, he decided to move back to Western massachusetts, Joe and Si formed a partnership, which became Bottaro-Skolnick Inc. Over the years Bottaro-Skolnick grew and moved to its present location in the early 1960's. Bottaro-Skolnick gained a reputation as the "stamp of fashion" in home furnishings by offering the finest in furnishings and interior design services. Since that time, its home at 143 Main Street has seen tremendous growth and change. We welcome you to wander our beautiful showroom and "be inspired".
